Daniel Bessell is the International Director of the Religious Youth Service. Since 1997 he has been involved in a diverse array of community development projects and international service work. His extensive experience in system design, logistics, management and event coordination ranges from service projects and conferences to the Interreligious Peace Sports Festival.
Mr. Bessell double majored in World Religions and International Political Economy & Diplomacy at the University of Bridgeport [www.bridgeport.edu], where he graduated with high honors. He is fluent in Spanish, German and English. He was born in New York, grew up in Germany and is married to Jeanne-Valerie from France. Together they have 4 lovely children and reside in Guatemala, Central America.
