James H. (Suhban) Burton has participated in numerous International Service projects since 1986. He has led more than 100 training workshops for corporations, universities, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations. Workshop themes have included leadership, communication skills, self-confidence, conflict resolution, sales styles, goal setting, multi-cultural marketing, real estate sales, real estate appraising, facilitating skills, and organization development. For more than 25 years Dr. Burton, has been a business professor at the undergraduate and graduate level at Georgia State University, University of Southern Mississippi, Temple University, Clark-Atlanta University, and University of West Georgia. Dr. Burton has received notable awards for teaching, research, service and leadership.
Subhan is married to former Pat Thoman. He has three adult children and seven grandchildren. Subhan and his wife enjoy their home/retreat center built on 43 acres overlooking a creek in Heard County, Georgia.
