Application and Acceptance Process

1. Potential Participant applies online
   
2. Automated response is sent to participant
   
3. Application is received by International Office
   
   The International office will communicate with the applicant to ensure that information on the application is correct. If applicants do not fulfill RYS requirements they will be rejected.
   
   RYS Volunteers need to be between 18 and 30 years old and in good physical condition to be able to follow the rigorous RYS daily schedule. RYS will only accept participants who are willing and able to pay their travel to the project location and participant fees furthermore participants need to take full responsibility to obtain their visas.
   
4. The International office sends the application by email to the Project Developer
   
5. Project Developer communicates with the potential participant
   
6. Project Developer accepts or declines the application and sends the acceptance or rejection letters to the applicant
   
7. Accepted Participant sends Acceptance Confirmation and Medical Release form to the International Office by Fax
   
8. International Office forwards "Acceptance Confirmation and Medical Release form" to the Project Developer and keeps a copy on record
   
9. Project Developer sends specific travel and emergency information to the participant
   
10. Participant sends his travel itinerary to Project Developer
